The basic unit of a Kaleidoscope quilt is a squar block divided into eight large triangles readiating from a center and finished with small triangles added to the four corner. A careful arrangement of these sipmle large and small triangles can fool the eye into seeing large circles despite the fact that the Kaleidoscope quilt has no curved lines.
