With this simplified method, the wedges are all speed cut and assembly line pieced. The completed plate is then sewn to the background square, using a technique called The Invisible Applique Stitch. This easy technique eliminates all the time consuming hand appliqueing, yet gives the look of an antique quilt without any of the hand-sewing.
