The Bernina Stitch Regulator (BSR) takes the guesswork out of free-motion quilting by automatically adjusting the sewing speed based on how fast you move the fabric. The result is consistent stitch length across your entire project, regardless of your hand speed or direction changes.

Straight and Zigzag Modes - The BSR works with both straight and zigzag stitches, making it suitable for free-motion quilting, stippling, thread painting, and decorative free-motion work. It senses fabric movement through the foot and adjusts the motor speed in real time. Slow down, and the machine slows. Speed up, and it matches your pace.
